Title: Blackpool away
Post by: donnievic on March 31, 2010, 03:29:39 pm
At the minute we are in the Open end seats on the side and won't find out till Monday if we will be moved to the North stand apparently it will be down to the police

I'm not always convinced that the police apply the best tactics to avoid football crowd conflict. Sometimes it appears that situations are so badly arranged that it makes me wonder if crowd trouble is incited in order to justify the excessive police presence.
With this in mind I wouldn't be suprised if we were put in the Gene Kelly stand.

Forest have been allocated behind the goal first, and then if they sell out, the uncovered side stand.

Well if Forest are getting both and we sell out our allocation aren't they required to allocate us a certain amount of available seats in respect to their increased capacity i.e. more tickets? and therefore part of their covered stand

Taken from the ticket information on dros

Blackpool (A), Monday 5th April 2010, Coca-Cola Championship, 3:00pm KO

We have received an initial allocation of 1000 tickets from Blackpool.

Season Ticket Holders are reminded that you MUST produce your book when purchasing away tickets at the Ticket Office / collecting tickets that have been ordered by telephone. A \"like for like\" entitlement applies. For example, using a Junior Season Ticket book only permits the purchase of a Junior ticket for the away matches.

Tickets will be available to Season Ticket Holders from Wednesday 17th March.

From Wednesday 24th March to Season Ticket Holders, Members and Rovers Alliance Members.

General Sale will commence Monday 29th March.

Away Rover tickets will be held until Monday 29th March.

Please note that tickets will be taken off sale at 4.00pm on Friday 1st April

Hi Les. Just found out today I'm off work Monday so will be able to go to Blackpool.
I looked on the Blackpool website and couldn't find any info at all about tickets for Mondays game. Pay on the day seems to be the only option left for me, so if anybody knows if we can pay on the day that would be great.

How you getting there Les, jamjar, rail or the coach?

How's my big brother BTW?

Keepmoat site says they are off sale today. DROS says tomorrow. Great. Good communicating again.
I would imagine we are very close to selling out our initial allocation, since the figure of 566 was from Monday.
It depends if they allocate us any more. If they do, I dare say you can pay on the day. I haven't got my ticket yet but am planning to go still.

Hi Pip, hope you are o.k. Going by car Sunday morning staying overnight. Alfredo is fine, came out of respite today while Megan has had a deserved break in Spain. As you I have checked the Blackpool website but not a lot of info. Hopefully will see you there, if not & we fail to get a ticket i'll look forward to seeing you for a few tunes in the Tower maybe!
