Looking at that table...and their current form, they could even miss out on that yet.

How great would that be??

exactly, that would be completely rediculous, and hilarious at the same time.

Having seen rest of the fixtures for me it will defo be Millwall or Swindon to go up automatic and they play each other the last game of the season, what will prob save Leeds dropping out of play offs is Col Utd next 3 games are Swindon,Millwall,Charlton analso have to play Huddersfield away. But Leeds not got a easy run in playing away at Gillingham Yeovil and Carlisle before finishing with Mk mongs(h),Charlton(a) and Bristol Rovers(h)who hopefully can get closer to playoffs in next few games being 8 and 7 points off.

Also league 1 season doesn't finish till the week after ours

Would be funny if JJ sticks a winner in for Carlisle and Heffs the same for the Gas.

Apparantly we were going back down and they were going up, and that was suppose to happen lsat season, well it ain't looking good for this season either.  :P

In Bentley Bullet and JR style, I have had a dream, it is the playoff final at Wembley, there is a team in white and another in blue and white stripes,West Yorkshire is empty. Forty minutes in and a screaming shot puts Huddersfield back into the CCC and a lot of white shirted fans go home crying again....

The only thing better than that Bentley would be if the winner was a diving header from a corner just after half time to send the smaller neighbours fans wild!

Iv tried not to laugh too much over recent months but it just gets funnier and funnier by the week.

Its comedy gold.

There looks to be some tough competition for 2nd place and for the playoff spots as well. Southampton have been making steady progress and even with a 10pts deduction could still make it to the top 6 before the end of the season.

My prediction

Norwich
Milwall
Southampton

A couple or 3 weeks ago i would have said that Leeds couldn't possibly blow it, but it looks like they are bottling it fine style.

Bradford, I miss your season-by-season narratives - they were great.  Particularly pissed off as you seemed to cease at season before I started (73/74)... any chance of a) continuing and b) posting a compilation of your efforts on here somewhere?

Ray - I echo Wokings'sentiments entirely - even though I had started by 1973-4 (my 12th season   ) - your articles are great

You could also maybe contact Viva Rovers

By the way Viva/Glenn - on a similar theme - you produced a terrific series of articles of monthly summaries for last season. Any chance of resurrecting them and doing this season as well?

Thanks DU,

Yep, I plan to do the same again once this season ends. At some point I'll be uploading last season's onto Viva Rovers as well as I think they're amongst the recovered archive I got back from the old Rivals network.

Hoping to have it all up on there by the end of May at the latest.
