On Sky sports news it said that Bristol City were recalling a striker. Hmmm... I thought to myself, could Heffs be coming back, now you've confirmed it. You've made my day Red Baron, hopefully he'll do well and finish our season off nicely. :)

This is exactly what has been worrying people, sod seems intent on letting our best striker go, but now it is obvious we need him post Billy.

Another interesting point (as well as JJ's VERY close range goal) is that Mr Swarbrick has clearly got as far as the section of the Laws where it says \"if an attacker is fouled in the box it's a penalty.\" Shame he hadn't read that far when we played Palace.

Three minutes as a sub for Hayter will prove nothing, except to show heffs he has had his time wasted.

I think what he said was he would \"be loath to\" bring Heff back, i.e. he'd rather not, rather than he'd \"loathe to.\" At that time the scale of Sharp's injury was not known and Heff was doing well at Bristol Rovers. Don't forget that the loan spell (as with Spicer and Guy) is for the player's benefit as well as the club's. SO'D is enough of a pragmatist to realise he can't go through the rest of the season with one fit striker.
