Every steward I asked outside the ground said we would be in the north stand, all that stand remained empty and they put us in that shithole down the side, Tossers!
-
Exactly what is all that about? they even segregated that stand prior to kick off and didn't let us sit totally inept by Blackpool
-
A club that us run off the pitch even worse than our own!
I'd piss myself if they actually went up. Can you imagine that stadium in the Premiership?!

I agree its strange to be on the other side of the fence for once looking at a total cock up! That would be embarrassing in the premier and their treatment of away fans is terrible
-
Did anyone witness the incident this muppet is talking about on their forum?
http://www.fansonline.net/blackpool/mb/view.php?id=333978
He's making himself and us look like pricks, but on the other hand some of their fans are bigging themselves up more than Leeds do!
-
He sounds a right tit and doesn`t know when he`s losing!
-
It is funny though!
-
it`s embarrassing
-
For him, yes. Does anyone by the name of Donny Stu post on here?
-
is 'donny stu' a donny fan or a rival with a hidden goal???

I was talking to a policewoman outside the ground and she said they had decided to change to the temp stand because they didn't expect us to take such a big crowd. She also commented that we should go to watch either Wigan or Blacvkburn as it would be a lot cheaper!!!

Didn't look so bad once it was decked out in red & white...

Did those of you who went have to pay the same price as the Home fans seeing that you was going to be using the same level of facilities(north stand)? If so its seems a crafty way of charging more then still putting you in poorer facilities by changing their minds at last minute?

Well my ticket (bought in advance) says \"Uncovered seating\" on it. So it seems that they had planned to put us in the golf stand all along whilst still charging full whack.

You would have thought that the fact that we sold our allocation of tickets by Thursday would have given them a clue that a fair few were travelling over
-
Aye, I remember you were there last season Rigo. Can't believe they've still got you on that excuse of a stand. It was terrible last season and couldn't believe the prices. Are the Blackpool fans still as temperamental as they were last year? Mind you, the result was different this time.

Whilst I was waiting for my wild mushroom and couscous salad, I got talking to the lass in the burger van at the end of the bench's. She said she had been informed by the stewards that she may have to move her van, as they are possibly going to move the Rovers fans into the empty covered area, only on the proviso of if it pissed it down. Strange one that thought I, as this would be a logistical nightmare, once the game kicked off, and the stand had netting all over the seats. She continued that the only people in that stand were the help the hero's guys n gals

The tickets went on sale before their new stand was actually open that's why we were sold tickets for the uncovered end and i said last week we were going to be in the open end probably because we sold our initial allocation of tickets

The price is absolutely shocking.
The stand is shocking, should have bounced and put it through.
The seat I sat on broke after 70 or so minutes.
I couldn't put my flag up because it had no fire certificate, I said something to the steward jokingly and he just gawped at me, gormless t**t.
OB overkill.
And I know for a fact a good 5 or 6 people that didn't get let in.
Blackpool are a f**king joke, and I hope they go up so we can all laugh at them. Robbing bas**rds.
Although I do credit their fans for singing, every age was joining in. Better than some of our boring lot.
They weren't a 2-0 better side, as it has been mentioned we were missing 5/6 first team regulars, JET was far too lazy, send him packing. Although Heffs looked a bit more fired up and was making far more of an impact yesterday than before we sent him out on loan.

Am I the only one who didn't think the stand at Blackpool was that bad? The weather was fine so uncovered seating wasn't a problem, and what other away grounds can you sit on the halfway line and get a really good view of the action? I didn't get in the ground until 2:45 but still got a couple of seats about halfway up, pretty much on the halfway line. Much better view of the action than most grounds where you end up behind the goal or crammed in a corner!

I agree with you to a certain extent.
Yes, the facilities weren't fantastic, but the view was half decent, and there are very few grounds where you are sat as close to the play as you are at Bloomfield Road - I quite liked that element. I was on the back row and it reminded me of standing on the Town End / Pop Stand at Belle Vue as it was so close to the players.
Of course the lack of a roof affected the atmosphere we were able to create, and I'm glad it didn't rain.
