Title: Tv Games Next Year
Post by: Crowle Rover on April 07, 2010, 07:20:26 pm
Assuming the tables finish the way they are at the moment and the 3rd placed teams go
up via the play offs (Newcastle,West Brom,Forest,Norwich,Swindon and Millwall)who
are Sky and the BBC going to focus on?They've no Newcastle to put on every other
week and the 3 teams currently in the premiership relegation zone are hardly what
you'd call glamorous(no offence to Hull,Burnley and Pompey)
I could see it being the West Ham show though if they happened to come down.
  Any thoughts?

It's the former Premiership show.

No place for little old Doncastur.

I reckon our only hope of being shown live on the BBC is if we get Leeds in our division

Not much chance of that then!

Its all about viewing figures. The BBC will pick the post attractive games to ensure viewing figures. The same with Sky to some extent.

If Leeds go up then there will be no question as to who will be shown the most. I suspect that they have had more live games on TV this season than any other Football league club with the exception of Newcastle. And that is with them not even in the Championship which apparently gets more TV coverage than the other divisions.

if watching rovers on tv is your cup of tea, move out to a scandic country
as this term there has been

cardiff city v rovers
rovers v reading
rovers v plymouth

and thats not too mention the rovers v leicester city game that was called off

and back in the uk you have only had rovers v reading todate.
