Purely hypothetical, but it looks reasonably likely that we won't make Billy a permanent signing - or DRFC seem tokeep reiterating that he is out of our price range anyway.

So where to turn in search of a potential goalscorer then?

My thoughts.

Gary Hooper from just down the road at Scunny. Its common knowledge at their Club that he'll be on his way in the summer, shouldnt be too high a transfer fee, and his currents wages, I would expect, must be lower than what we could potentially offer.

At the very least, Id hope someone at DRFC is considering him as a viable option, because personally, I think he's a cracking player.
