scores again

Fair play to him.
-
Good luck to the lad, maybe he has found his level.
-
seems to have thanks d.penny
-
Good luck to him.
(Penny I mean ) ;)
-
perhaps hes with a manager who knows how to play him
-
He's scored at this level, under a manage who knows how to play the game very well at this level too though. It's hardly surprising he's having agreat time there.....who wouldn't when you dont get booed every game!
Shame not to be able to give him a send off next week, as I cant see him playing at KM again for us. Good luck Lewis you've been a good servant for us over the years for which I am grateful.
-
like his mate heffs and manager they have all found the level they are ok at. Guy now scored the same amount of goals has heffs in league 1 but in less games. Maybe we should be getting back to blank like heffs in the championship!!!!
-
This argument has been done to death. He has proved he is not good enough at Championship level so let him try his luck in a level below.
If he is successful then great I wish him well but he isn't good enough for us.
If we are to progress as a club and aim to reach higher levels then we need players of a higher calibre than Lewis.
-
Well done Lewis.
Correct me if I am wrong but Lewis is a Cumbrian so to score at Carlisle, his local club, is special for him.

I would have thought to score a goal against any club would be special for Lewis.
Seriously though, good luck to him now he has hopefully found his level. He was given ample opportunities here.

Having seen his goals it's no surprise. He's been given a bit more time than you get in this league. That really is the difference, bit more space from the defence and it's helping Lewis big time.
-
I think he has probably learnt from the experience of playing in the Championship for 18 months, which has made him a better player in League One, despite the fact that he is probably lacking the quality to succeed in the Championship.
Good luck to him. I think he can do alright for a club like Oldham, playing at that level, but as a few have already said, that is probably his level and we should look to move him on this close-season.
-
I can just see it next season. Lewis signs for Oldham scores 25 goals and has a host of Championship clubs wanting to sign him.
Good luck Lewis wherever you are playing.
-
He's been carrying a big weight of expectation on his back for a long time with us.
Guy and Heffs are better off seeking their fortune elsewhere and good luck to them both.

At the end of the day, he's been a Championship striker for nearly two seasons and in the vast majority of that time he hasn't performed well enough for us or to the standard that is required. What's the point in having a striker who doesn't score goals at the level your club is at?
How many of the two years have people constantly been on the Guys back (see what I did there) ;) Its hardly surprising that he hasn't performed, like SOD has said time and time again. He is a confidence player and the boo boys should take some of the blame for that.
Maybe league 1 is his level maybe not. SOD definately had faith in his capabilities in this league. He has still been a good assett for this club in past years.
