I suppose if Dingles can't afford his wages then neither can we
-
Sign him just to piss the Dingles off
-
I'd love to sign him in a similar way to when they got Macca, he left because they were \"a bigger team\". what goes around comes around ;)

I actually think he would do very well in our side. He has a physical presence, and knows where the onion bag is. He's not Billy Sharp, but could be just as prolific and as much a fans favourite.
Maybe there isnt room for him and his ego at the KMS though?

it may be that not that they (or us) cant afford him may be more a case of his valuation of himself might not be what the clubs valuation of him is

Just as prolific?
Sharp 34 app 1 sub 15 goals
Bog 23 app 10 sub 14 goals
Depending on how you look at the sub appearances but l think if it was done on minutes Bogdanovic would be more prolific.
Could be worth a punt but like they say Barnsley have top earner on 8.5k so l would imagine he would be wanting that sort of money. No club should be held to ransom.

Too risky for me and If he did sign for us and produce the goods I would think that would only be short term anyway.Just looked at his history on wiki and it says he has had more clubs than Akinfenwa!30 years old and he's never stopped at one club longer than 1 season, infact in 3 of the seasons he had spells at 2 clubs. He had 9 different clubs in 9 years and infact had 12 spells in total at 9 clubs over 9 years. You would think he was more suited to being a pikey than a dingle

I meant just as prolific in our team, playing our way. Barnsley's style is a million miles away from ours, but it would demand he did more for the team with us than he does at Jokewell. I think Boggy would fit in very well with us.

Like the OP said, if Barnsley (who have a higher salary cap than us) can't afford / aren't willing to pay the wages he wants then I doubt we could / would do. He will end up at a bigger club with more money.
-
Isn't he on loan there from Derby?

Mackie(sp) from Plymouth, excellent player with time on his side. Played out of position a few games this year but can be a real threat. A bit in the Billy Sharp mould but would imagine he would be cheaper and interested in a move back to the CCC/
