Title: Our season in 90 minutes...
Post by: rhinoplod on April 25, 2010, 07:21:08 pm
Does anyone else agree that yesterday's game was a snapshot of our entire season?

We had moments of individual errors and defensive mistakes that cost us goals, moments of individual and team brilliance that created/scored goals, great passing and shape to the team followed by moments where we were out of shape and position and being run ragged. It just seemed to have everything in there that we have applauded and berated all season long in almost equal measure.

You forgot to add that SOD tried protecting a lead and brought on Locky

I was going to ring up football heaven afterwards and say exactly the same thing.

Flashes of brilliance, a cameo from Stock, lucky escapes, near misses and proof that with Shackell and Sharp in the side we would have won comfortably. In the end though, we did enough  :)
