Nathan and I attended the Sponsors event today, representing the VSC.
As regular readers of the programme will know, thanks to your subs in the VSC we are able to sponsor a number of players, namely Ben Smith, Sean McDaid, and Waide Fairhurst. As no-one had sponsored him, we also did a late deal to sponsor Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, so he didnt feel left out.
As a result, we received their signed, framed home shirts today, which we will be making available to win very soon. The funds raised from this will go towards sponsoring more players next season, so it all gets ploughed back into the club.
As auctions tend to be a bit exclusive to those with pots of cash, we are hoping to do a reverse auction, where the lowest unique bid wins. This should enable more of you to enter without breaking the bank too much. Details will follow soon, if we can figure out a way to do it online! ;-)

Did you make noises about the CRM system and such?

Give over, they stopped caring after the second pint!

If only. We only had a coke each (and not that sort of coke either).
I had a list of things to discuss, but everyone from the Rovers media and marketing disappeared, leaving only Laura and the commercial team. I'll email Shaun separately.

Sorry Rob but that says it all
perhaps it was the wrong time to try speak to them

To be fair, it was a Commercial-run event, and Shaun, Chris, etc, were there helping set up.

Rob to be honest they should ALL be there and stay there, whether comercial or media or vsc its about pulling together/talking to each other etc as in all successful buisnes's.
It seems to say \"Ive got my couple of photo's and quote so I'm sodding off\"
I would expect that of the Star/Free Press but not our own teams

I agree a common front would have been useful (for me at least).
