Title: New Video on DROS
Post by: deebee on April 28, 2010, 07:13:37 pm
There is a new video on DROS free to watch via youtube some nice footage and a very good indication by JR that he intends to bring in more quality players in the summer.
Plus a couple of bloopers. Worth a watch.

Definite thumbs up for the idea. This is exactly the kind of thing the club should be doing. Will be interesting to see how many hits it generates.

Which one is it, to save me trawling through them all. Would love to, but sadly don't have the time.

Just a thought seeing as it's good to see the club do something like this but would in not be worthwhile them say talking to the free press about doing a free DVD within one of their issues say next month with every copy of the paper?

Imagine if they do a version to atract the borderline supporter, with loads of info in an accompanying leaflet produced by the vsc that gives all manner of options to be able to buy a season ticket without having to make a massive outlay? Think about the readership of the paper which must be at least 10,000 around the borough.

I'm always looking for freebies in national papers and they manage to do DVD freebies to a good standard and well advertised.  It may need a couple of goes say next month and then as pre season has started to help build the sales but should be affordable and I'm sure king barnes if he's still alive would promote it well within the paper like they did johns book?

With robs and gareths direction and the success of the leaflet drop for the scunny game this must also be worth a shot in the interrest of the club? I'll  pm them to see what they think

A good idea and not a shabby effort.

I just wish John didn't feel the need to moan about the support. I know it frustrates him but honestly it doesn't help when you're trying to sell the club. It's a negative message and it puts people off.

All this needs to say is, look at us we play football the right way and we're good. Nothing else needs to be said, it's the only reason people might want to associate themselves with the Rovers.

I don't want to sound too negative myself, this is a step in the right direction. Well done.

He just can't help himself though can he. Sure it's frustrating for all of us. He could solve the problem though if only the penny would drop !

He keeps preaching to the same congregation. It's the non believers he needs to appeal to and, while he's preaching from the parapit, some people are sneaking out of the vestry door because they can't afford to put in to the collection !!
