Title: Interesting Stat...
Post by: VikingJames on April 28, 2010, 09:12:34 pm
Rovers have only failed to score in a league match on 10 occasions this season, which works out at 22% of our matches. This is only beaten by 3 teams in the whole division (Newcastle 5, West Brom 5 and Blackpool 7,) and is only equalled by Leicester and Sheffield United.

Quite something when you note that we failed to score in 9 matches in our 2 most recent promotion seasons (2007/8 and 2003/4.) And last season (2008/9), we failed to score in 19 matches (which works out at around 41% of our matches) - almost double that of the current season.

Going to have to get used to reading that sort of crap on here... the close season looms!  B)

Another one.... I know it is irrelevant, but we stand 4th place in the \"half time table\" this season, meaning that if only the first half of games were taken into account, we'd have 71 points, and would be heading for the play-offs.

...we'd obviously be near the bottom of the 'second half table' then !! ;)

What about the \"Clubs who got sent the sh!ttest refs\" table?  We must top that one comfortably.
