a good read about how much shackell and sharp have enjoyed it here.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll's thoughts will have already turned to next season after being informed of the budget he has to spend at a board meeting yesterday.
Although no figures have been released it is thought to be higher than last season, unlike many Championship clubs, although the gap between the top teams, and clubs with smaller average gates, will still be just as wide.
It is no secret that Doncaster are keen to make permanent the loan acquisitions of hotshot Billy Sharp and dominant defender Jason Shackell from Sheffield United and Wolves respectively.
But whether they can afford the inspirational duo - likely to cost close to £2million - is another matter.

A nice positive article, unlike last season when we could only see players leaving!

I`m getting the feeling that we may be pleasantly surprised this close season, there`s positive noises coming from the right people

Me oo. I can't se the point of playing Shacks if SOD doesn't see a possibility of him being here longer than one game. You would play one of the Lockwood,Hird or JOC in the middle otherwise.
I think that if we make a couple of good signings and keep who we want we''ll be strong next season. A bonus would be England having a good world cup keeping the feelgood factor going most of the summer.
I would also look at offering incentives if the first game is at home against a team that doesn't have much away support.
Let's get the season off to a rocking start with a big crowd and if we win and play well we may attract a few more less committed/part-time supporters. :)
