Title: Prize money. again

I saw another reference somewhere today that suggested there is prize money for each position in the Championship. I've looked on the FL website, but I can't find any info at all on there. Is this just a silly rumour? Or is it true? And if it is true, how much 1s 12th worth?

That said I can't help in saying how much we earn, but I'm sure it's more than 13th and less than 11th.

Championship:

Winners - £50,000

Runners-up - £25,000

League 1:

Winners - £25,000

Runners-up - £10,000

League 2:

Winners - £25,000

Runners-up - £10,000

Third place - £5,000

Post by: Alan Southstand on May 04, 2010, 08:41:36 am: On the same theme, I heard someone talking on Deedah this morning about the TV 'monies' that Wednesdeh will miss out on, by dropping out of the CCC - some £2.5 million. Apparently, its only a few hundred thousand for the Div 1 Clubs.

That's a sizeable chunk towards our 'budget' for next season.

There was a little debate going on further down Alan re this 2.3m. Some might say it's dirty money. Some might say it's self preservation.
