Looks like the lad wants a fresh start, and a change of scenery. Touted as a future England international but injuries have curtailed that, still young enough to play at the top but needs to get himself back where he was, worth a punt?

Doubt if we could offer the wages that he's used to.

with his injury problems doubt any team would offer him decent wages, sign him up on a contract like Michael Owen has at Man Utd or what Mido was on at West Ham ie. £1k a week basic then appearence/win/bonus etc on top of that.

His injury record is a bit suspect, but I think he`s definitely worth a look

if no other team in the championship wants him, then we could have a look i suppose
