Hooper was a mediocre striker till he got his chance and Billy was the same.....
onwards and upwards i say....
i hate the English players because they are greedy selfish, t**ts, and all of them can lay there greedy mits on at least a million wonga,
who can i support in this world cup campaign , who are poor and not well known (media-wise)???????

I agree, sort of, but we can’t expect SOD to produce every time, and we need a striker (to do the buisness)otherwise we will be in a dog fight, next season. Can SOD find a none proven striker to basically safe us from the drop?
This is why I am amazed that we got rid of Heffs as Heffs is proven at this level, like it or not :P I’m sure we could have got Heffs on a shortish contract, and he would be ideal if the worst happened, and we ended up back in league one.
PS I’m not so sure SOD would find a striker, anyway. I think that’s the one area on the pitch he struggles with hence playing Guy et al ahead of Heffs.
And dare I mention signing Byfield :dry:
