No chance, why would he willingly drop a division when we've offered him new terms? Add that to the fact he's a Donny boy and I just can't see Hird leaving for Wednesday.

If he gets first team football, you cant blame him, especially as we have 3 centrebacks already with another seemingly coming in and that doesnt include our best centre back Oconnor!
I wouldnt have a problem with him leaving, id rather it be on loan mind

If he did go I think they would have to pay us compensation with Hird being under 24 years old.

In all honesty, would you take Ward in and Hird out, IF it happened?
I'd personally rather have Webster out the door and Ward in, than the above but we'll wait and see / hope.

Wonder if the new manager at Coventry considers offering Ward a new contract. Could affect our chances of signing him, should SOD be in for him that is.
