Always something like to do ....
Tell us what games and how long you are staying out there...
-
I'm going out twice, first I've won a trip to the USA game, go from the 9th to 14th. Then I was already going for the knockout stages, got conditional tickets for all England games last 16 through to final, spending time in Rustenburg, Pretoria, cape town and johanessburg, fly out on 24th come back 13th July. Cost a small fortune, I haven't been to an away rovers game since Christmas because of it.
Also going Austria this weekend for the last friendly.
-
Myself, and Silent Majority fly out with 10 others on the 10th June, fly back day after round 16 game with the intention of flying back 4 days later for the rest of the tournament, if things go to plan ;)
-
Yep, we even have a blog up and running to keep everybody informed on how the trip is going, what the atmosphere is like, food, weather, etc etc. Likely to post some pictures of our travels too;

Amongst many other things we have booked, safari, etc, we hope to be doing a little cage diving with sharks. Maybe we could invite him along and by mistake on purpose leave the door unlatched?

one the supporters front there is one thing that is stuck in back of me mind about the world cup in south africa
if this was the rugby it would not bother me so much as that
is mostly watched by the whites out there, hence a stress free day in and around the grounds on matchdays, its fare to say
'white mans sport' in that neck of woods
as for football ' a black mans sport' for sure in this neck of the woods, which in turn makes me raise a eye brow about supporter safety as i jusy cant judge how safe you will be.
not on about football violence here far from it,more about the more streetwise your are will depend on you having a trouble/stress free world cup.
the likes of sepp blatter and his mob have no problems as they will be rushed about in convoy of blue lights before and after games, but average joe public will be left to their own devices
on most extents.

well they wouldn't need feeding for at least a month after if you did.. He has the most humungously large gut I have ever seen...And he is a Londoner....and a pervert..Yuk.
On second thoughts, perhaps it's not such a good idea, endangering the poor critters with bad meat....lol

There is a school in Leeds (yes I know, Dirty Leeds) who have twinned with a school in Cape Town and tomorrow (Thursday) we are meeting with them so that we can take cards and photos etc out to CT and deliver these before England play. If anybody, football supporters or otherwise, would like to turn up at 2pm it would be really appreciated. All organised by the British Council and Yorkshire England Supporters are doing our bit.
Cookridge Primary - wear your footy shirt!!
