Evening all  ;) I remember this being discussed on the old board but can't remember the outcome, so wondered if you all could help?

Which is the best to buy plasma, lcd or led telly?

Plasma is the best all round but cost 5x more to run so....    :S
Lcd is crap if you are watching football but a lot cheaper to run.

Dont get lcd if your wanting to watch much football.

LED is the best, but the price reflects this. Also the most economical to run.

Plasma anything 42\" or above.

As a seperate, but related tip......Be careful with the forthcoming 3D TV. I watched a Liverpool match in the local pub and some scouser in the kop end tried to nab my wallet.
