WILSON SIGNS NEW DEAL
Midfielder pens 2 year deal.

Does this mean that we have agreed terms with the pen?  :)

It at least means that we know where the pen is.

Unless Wilson prefers to use an inked thumb to approve his deals.

Obviously Wilson had the pen over the Bank Holiday which prevented Oster from signing. What is unclear though is wether the PEN is DRFC's or Wilson's?

Being born in Scunthorpe which of his many thumbs would he use?  :)

Great news, even better is that he chose us over other suitors offering him regular football. Hopefully Oster, Hayter et al soon follow suit, we're gradually getting there with the out of contract players.

Said a man from Stainey as in: 'Police acting on information regarding the missing pen are currently believed to be searching the usual addresses in the Stainforth area'

England boss Fabio Capello pens new two-year deal

Jun 3 2010

ENGLAND have tied up Fabio Capello on an amended deal until after Euro 2012.

There had been speculation over the manager's future after Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti said the 63-year-old topped his list to replace Jose Mourinho.

With a £9million-a-year salary on offer - 50 per cent more than Capello's £6m English FA wage - it was feared he might walk.

Capello had previously agreed verbally to stay until after the next European Championship and over the weekend insisted he had not spoken to anyone at Inter.

But the FA were determined to remove any uncertainty.

Before Capello and his squad left for South Africa - Wayne Rooney, left, took along his favourite pillow to make sure he gets a decent sleep -the FA confirmed their manager's contract had been tightened.

Club England chairman Sir Dave Richards said: \"We have Fabio's commitment for another two years.

\"Now we can all concentrate on the World Cup and give Fabio and the players our full support.\"
