They can afford it. Apparently Wolves are willing to pay 8 million for their striker Steven Fletcher.

It's just paper talk fuelled by Billy's agent/the Blades to start a bidding war, last week it was £650k from L**ds. According to the Blades nothing official has been received from any club.

When shackell signed for Dingles and Ward signed for Norwich nothing was heard until after they signed or just before on same day but with Billy someone is trying very hard to push his name around to attract attention.Would be interesting to know who for certain it is.

Agree.  We would be the much better option for so many reasons:

(1) He'd be pretty much guaranteed to be first choice stricker (!)
(2) He loves it here.
(3) He knows the lads and the system and already has a rapport with the fans.
(4) He would not have to move house.
(5) We're a better team than Burnley anyway ;)

Come on Billy.... Do the right thing.  You know it makes sense.
