I think SOD has made it pretty clear that he hopes to sign a new central defender this summer; either on loan or permanently. Just wondered has anyone heard any names being mentioned as favourites of SODs. Also who would everyone else like to see signed for this position??

Jay Demerit-i know, high wages again, but would be a good signing, free agent as well

I really like the look of the Dagenham CB Scott Doe. Really good on the ball wins a lot in the air, still only 21 I think Mr O' Driscoll could really bring him on.

I was wondering if Sean might renew interest in Martin Cranie, who is at Coventry. I think he would be a good alternative to Ward and Shackell, but I think wages might be a stumbling block. He would fit the bill though.
