A) Rovers win the FA Cup next season
B) Rovers gain promotion next season
C) Rovers stay up
D) England win the world cup.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like England to win the World Cup (although it won't happen), but I don't hold the England team in anywhere near as high importance to me as Rovers.

Look forward to England slightly less than rovers games, but I love the way we all are on one side and the whole nation becomes one.
Even our lass joins in and she hates football! :laugh:

from 1980's  to the slovakia v england game in early
a few years back i have been all over europe following the national side england,what in part brought me out to oslo truth
be told,all in all close on 30 games i guess

never watched england at wembley  might i add

so i did have a healthy interest in the national team, but for sure since that game in slovakia i have lost all interest
in even watching england in me own front room via the idiot box

cant explain me total loss of touring round with england as had some great times,but today it would be a push for me to cross the road to watch them.

Don't give one solitary toss about England's chances in the World Cup.

But then I'm not a football fan - I don't watch the game on TV either.

The only time that I put myself out to watch football is when DRFC are playing ... so I'm a Rovers fan, but not a football fan.

Stupid question DMNumber4 ... you always take the best you can for your team so promotion is No1, a trophy is No2 (but I don't want the FA Cup if it means relegation), maintaining position is No3.

for me its A,B,C,D.

I've been wondering for a while why i am less and less interested in England.

perhaps its because i used to watch a fourth Division team of no-hopers, and even watched non league football for a few years that i used to gaze in awe at England.

but now i support a team which has Northern Ireland, Scottish and Welsh Internationals!!!!!!!!!!

Don't care about the national team one jot would rather see the dutch win the world cup, mainly because i have never met a dutch person i don't like and their women are so good looking its untrue and if they get to the final there will be plenty of shots of the orange clad floozies to watch following the inevitable english failure in the quarter finals.

Another one here who would rather see Rovers succeed over England. Winning the WC would bring the country together and there would be mass celebrations around the country, but Rovers are number one for me and always will be! I can't see England winning the WC in my lifetime anyway - though would love to be wrong!

So B C A then D for me. Club before Country and I have witnessed D so less of a priority
