Could be about to join Sheff Wednesday apparently, intriguing move that one
-
I saw him in Meadowhall on Friday, although that could mean nothing at all...
-
Or it could mean you're signing for Wednesday.
-
Eurgh.

Well if he wants to stay local and play in a top League 1 team, he's probably making a very good move. Fair play to him, I hope he does well wherever he goes.

From 5th May ;)

Good Luck To The Lad....Will Be Sorely Missed
A True Rovers Legend

I was chatting with one of the coaches from Wednesday last night, and he said they were hoping to land Heffs this week.
-
Looking at some Wednesday forums, they don't seem that impressed with the prospect of brining Heffs in. It must be because he's not a big name. He was always a good league 1 striker and could easily score 20 goals for Wednesday next year if he plays every game! I hope he does well there, he's been a great player for us and always played for the club rather than himself.

would probs be the best move for him. good look paul

You are right if he plays every game he should score 20 goals his record of goals per game prove that. But he has not completed 40+ games in the league with any club in the league he has played at.

On Owlstalk theres plenty of \"don't really know much about him\" yet don't bother to look up his scoring record.
Very good signing for them if true, not another big name waster either yet not many Owls have realised that either.

Maybe the're finding the prospect of having to take 'hand me downs' from a tin pot pub team a little hard to swallow... Bless em.
He goes with my thanks and best wishes.

Sign of the times I suppose when our cast offs are being taken on by our 'bigger' neighbours !
