He's there to act as a foil for Rooney...Rooney loves playing off of him...no brainer really

Only surprise for me is no Joe Cole.

At least Wright-Phillips is not in the team. About time Gerrard puts in a decent performance too.

After all that, I thought Heskey played very well.

Rooney was anonymous, as were Lampard and Lennon. They are the type of players we need to turn up on the day, and they didn't do enough for me.

I think Lennon did the best out of those three...though that doesnt mean a great deal.

You'd struggle to believe 'World Beater' Rooneywas on the pitch...It seems his recent quote of 'Im saving all my Goals for the World Cup' may have been a little misguided.
