Title: World Cup Referees.

I know the argument is for letting referees from lesser countries experience the world cup but..................Just watched the USA Slovenia game and that referee was just not up to it.
The Yanks had a perfect goal disallowed and why? Nobody knows.

Easy - because they are American!

I agree with Rigo - the Spanish tosser flinging yellow cards around in the Germany game was a total knobhead (although he did engineer a reason to send a German off)

Blame the ref, blame the ball - let them get on with it, it all balances itself out!

I seem to remember a certain British Ref that did not actually cover himself in glory after the last world cup - so prehaps the lesser nations are not so bad after all!

Not sure how he saw any tugging by the USA because there was NONE by the US in that particular incident - Slovenian defenders were all over em. Poor decision to disallow the goal, end of.  :S
