This is not a wind up as I swear on my baby daughters life on all that is written in this thread as what has been said between myself and a very old friend.
It was 2 weeks ago I was in a local shop (the reason I am putting it now is I have only just got back from an holiday in Wassenaar, Holland) and I bumped into my childhood sweetheat (awww, lol), she has always been a bit of a WAG type of character throughout school and she IS engaged to a Doncaster Rovers player.
I got onto Billy Sharp and she said \"Oh, I like Billy, he's a nice lad\". So I asked whats the story on him for next season.
She said \"He thinks he is going to Leeds.\"
So there you go, thats it... Obiously Laws is after him and after reading a few threads on here he is Burnley bound, and this was 2 weeks ago and alot can happen in a week but thats what I have heard direct from someone that is in with the Doncatraz crowd.
If your just gonna reply that I am on the wind up then don't bother replying, and don't ask which player she is dating as it would be foolish for me to damage a life long friendship and unprofessional for me to potentially drag a player throught the muck.

I heard yesterday that Leeds walked out of talks with Sharp when they heard his wage demands and it is a straight fight between us and Burnley and they have the cash to spend, so we cannot compete as we haven't a level playing field financially.

My girlfriends sons girlfriends sister goes out with Billy Sharp but i have no inclination to find out the real story cos im sure Billy doesnt even know.
