Was having a conversation with a L**ds fan the other day and he was giving it the usual 'we will fill your ground for you' crap... They don't seem to get the 'thats because of people like you supporting Leeds and being from Doncaster arguement!!!!'
Anyway, I was just thinking before the tickets go on general sale could they not perhaps go on sale a week or so before and people with Season Tickets could purchase 1. Obviously not for his/her self but for a non season ticket holder who is a Rovers fan who for whatever reason doesn't have a season ticket. This way you won't get Leeds fans going down straight after they go on general sale with a Utlility bill with a Doncaster address on and getting a ticket for our end.
Just a thought!

Nice idea but JR would prefer a crowd of 15000 to a crowd of 13500

how about vouchers from previous home games, might put bums on seats
-
the best way is to sell them as a double purchase with the following home match.
yes , they'd still buy them but would cost twice as much

think this could be coming with the new lay out on the stadium website of getting points for buying tickets

Why not just allow the stewards to eject any away fan in a home area. Win win situation, we've got their money and they cannot watch the game. If they choose to take the risk its a long 90 minutes sat on your hands and pretending to be happy/sad along with those sat next to you.

We play Norwich at home the previous Tuesday and I can't imagine this will pull in much of a crowd. So having a \"double ticket\" for Norwich and Weeds may be a good option.

This.
The stewards need to grow a pair and kick out anyone who makes it clear that they are a Leeds fan.

How many of us went in the away end at St James' last season? I don't think we can have much cause for a moan if we get a load of Leeds in our end then can we? What goes around...

Thing is NUFC wouldn't have been too bothered because there was no way they were going to sell all their home tickets to Necastle fans. We, on the other hand, have a chance of selling all our home tickets to genuine Rovers.
I agree with the ideas of selling them either as a double ticket with the following match, or even better you need a stub from the previous home match if no season ticket.

I wouldn't say we have a chance of selling them to genuine home fans, we struggle to sell out for the biggest of games...
And if NUFC isn't a good example, then Cheltenham on the last day of the League One season was, our fans denied their fans an opportunity to see their team clinch safety because they went in the home ends...
I don't have a problem with away fans in home area's given I would do it myself if I had to, but I would kick out any fan who openly celebrates etc. The last time we played Leeds it was shambolic, the stewards may as well have stayed at home.
