The game was due to take place on Saturday September 18, but has now been brought forward to Friday September 17 with a 7.45 kick-off

can anyone tell me why we always have home games selected for live games and never away games
-
And that means we are playing on Tuesday and Friday, soesn't it?
-
It sure does. Norwich at home Tuesday 14th September 19.45. Leeds at home Friday 17th September 19.45.
-
Great, another one i`m struggling to make!
-
It may mean that we have less leeds fans in our end.

Cant argue with that.
Otherwise I was either going to have to give Alton Towers a miss on the saturday - thus upsetting the missus and the kids, or miss potentially our most important home game of the season.

Hope im wrong but I think it will be payback time for Leeds in the championship. Looks like they are signing Hooper this summer, we don't have Sharp as he is staying with the Blades and we will be a weaker team than last season. With what they have (Kasper,Bassone,Kilkenny,Snodgrass,Paynter etc) I dont fancy our chances. :(

Why don't you just admit that your a leeds fan? We all know it and knowones bothered! You're just making yourself sound like a retard by pretending to be rovers when your not.

I imagine it's due to the fact that when we play Leeds at the Keepmoat several thousand of their fans that would come to the game can't get a ticket, whereas when we're away at Leeds, there may be some disappointed Rovers fans - but most of us who want to go will be able to come. Means they probably start with 25 - 30K more viewers before you start with the neutrals. Same (but to a lesser degree) with the Blades.
It's a disadvantage of being a small fish in a big pond.
The only way we'll get an away game is if we find ourselves in the play-offs at the end of the season or we get into the top spot (or 2nd, maybe 3rd) in the league.

You're never posting about Leeds?
What is so great about Bessone and Paynter!? And how do you know that 'we' will have a weaker team than last season? It isn't quite even July yet, give it a rest!

Looks like Leeds have taken the place of NUFC as the TV folks' favourites. 3 games televised before end of September. More to come no doubt.

I don't quite understand why there are so many moans about the likes of Newcastle getting more exposure on live TV when not many seasons ago we were getting just that in our Conference days. Can't remember many posts on here in support of Forest Green Rovers, Margate and Gravesend & Northfleet who got nothing whilst we were shown live several times the season we went up.

Could be same number of Leeds with a little more booze in them.

More airtime for L**ds = more chance of them being shown up against the likes of Scunthorpe at home in front of millions, rather than just thousands
