...who in turn has just had a call from JR.
As you all probably know by now (and if you dont, what is it like on the moon?) Billy has indeed signed, pending a medical. A press conference is scheduled for wednesday.
Also, Simon Gillett has agreed to sign, and three loan players have also agreed to come. No specific details as yet on those.
Today really is a hugely significant day in the history of our great club. Today is the day that we step up to become a major force in this division. Enjoy that thought.

How about Kyle Bartley for centre back?? Highly rated arsenal centre back, think he was on loan at sheff utd a bit last season aswell.

Brilliant day for Rovers and all Rovers fans. A big well done to JR, SO'D, RO'K etc for making this happen.
Sharp is exactly who we needed, and with the other signings and loan players.... should set us up nicely for the coming season.

Where'd you get this from? Could that also mean JET?

Sure could. If they arent having a reserve team it either means 1) more ad-hoc friendlies, which as we've seen dont necessarily give the kind of workout a player needs to push for a 1st team place, or 2) loan out to properly run, improving year-on-year clubs, who like to play football the right way, and who's fans and chairman are utterly, utterly fantastic.
So, Crewe it is then.
