Title: Forum activity today

Yesterday, there were 201 posts on the forum, lots of it excited speculation that something was going to happen.

Today, we have had a big lump of downtime early this morning, a whole rash of user deletions as a result, and still 340 posts so far, AND ITS NOT EVEN TEATIME YET!

Will we pass 500 by midnight, as folks settle down to an hour at the laptop after tea/the pub/the kids have gone to bed?  If so, then this will be the biggest day's activity in this forum's history.

times like this when 'pay as you post' forums were up and running,you would not mind paying again and again flicking
throu todays events

It's something about Billy. The forum crashed last summer when SSN reported we had bid £1.2m for him!

Today we've had the 2nd highest number of hits since the new forum was started last year - and the day's not even over yet!  :silly:

(The highest was January 12th 2010)
