I doff my hat to you sirs, many people on here, including myself have often questioned why you were on the board, today you`ve made us eat humble pie in great quantity's. we know JR is the public face, but we also know now that the KM2 mean business as well, well done and thank you! :) :) :) :)

I was just about to post exactly the same thing.
JR gets a lot of praise, but this wouldn't have happened without their significant investment.

Well said Filo, I'm afraid I too have been one of their detractors in the past.
They have now bought plenty to the party and I apologise and thank you both too.

To me, although I know they were putting in large amounts of money already, this proves they may be in this for the long run. If this is the case, it makes it more believable that buying the stadium is a realistic target.

SOD said in an interview a couple of seasons ago that he knows he has to work within a tight budget however, if a special player came along that he really wanted then the board would back him...and they have !
Even if you are millionaires, the club has to manage it's finances properly. If you were throwing good money after bad on players 'that didn't work out' you would be a millionaire for long.
This signing puts to bed any speculation about their interest and long may they be the quiet sensible men they are. It's time to leave them alone and let them go about their business.
I have to laugh at some other clubs paying way over the odds for players and look where it gets you ! They just don't get it.

Hat doffed from here also. The board have done the business on this one and at £1.1m I reckon it's a absolute steal. Good work chaps.

The board have invested £1.15 million out of their incredible worth which is actually a small percentage in relation.
Yes the hairs stand up, every time I hear the news that Sharp has signed but are we all saying \"well done, all is forgiven\" after one Sharp signing? Not what was said after selling Wellens and Mills ;)

Errr ....Yep!
These directors have been forking out for some time now, along with JR to ensure we remain debt-free. The Wellens and Mills transfers last season only led to them forking out a little less.
You have also got to remember, should TB and RW put a massive cash injection into the club, it could be that JR would not be able to match it. This would mean JR would be the weakest of the 3 major shareholders. I don't like the sound of that. Better keep them on an equal footing.
Let's keep the club run within budgets and responsibly.
