Alternatively, I don't suppose the lucky pint is open for business before usual hours?

Update: Sir John is here but Billy is not. We look knackered and you can see it's only the start of pre season. There are 2 faces that I don't recognise, a young lad whose first name is Tom and another six footer playing centre mid. 0-0 and nearly half time

Tracksuited and booted sat at the side of Webster apparently! Maybe reports of a failed medical are not quite 100% accurate or maybe it was only a fraction away from a pass!

Or maybe it could be someone who resembles Gillett.

I left with 15 mins to go and as I reached the car another goal for Rovers but scorer unknown. Out of all who played 'Dixie' Dean Shiels and Mark 'Willo' Wilson stood out. Nice little work out but nothing learnt.

Just to add to the Askern theme, what a pleasure it was to see JR mixing with the fans.I do not believe you would find many chairmen mingling with the supporters on the touchline, can you imagine Ken Bates attending a pre season game at Harehills by comparison.

My mate once sat with JR and had a chat in Maccy Ds in Morcambe when the game was called off due to bad weather.
