Title: Re:Barnstaple v Rovers
Post by: big fat yorkshire pudding on July 19, 2010, 08:15:05 pm
Probably about 12 gone.  Dumbaya sounding like he's dominating on the right wing.
Title: Re:Barnstaple v Rovers
Post by: DRFC MYERS on July 19, 2010, 08:15:58 pm
great news... dumbaya seems to be really standing out over last few games.. another SOD gem to come shiny?
Title: Re:Barnstaple v Rovers
Post by: DonnyBazR0ver on July 19, 2010, 08:16:15 pm
We sound quite lively. Noticed on the highlights from the Solihull game we played some good quick passing moves at times.

Dumbaya causing problems again. He's probably loving it further forward without defensive duties.

Shot from Woods, parried out for corner.

Title: Re:Barnstaple v Rovers
Post by: DonnyBazR0ver on July 19, 2010, 08:20:18 pm
It's official, they've decided we are playing wing backs. Perhaps Dumbaya's forgetting to get back !!

Corner to Barny. Played short, played in Save by Woods. Think whistle went for offside.

must admit i was impressed with Muzzy at Solihull, but put it down to the quality of the opposition. Hope he can show this form in the Championship, would sure lighten our defensive headaches if he can push to be included.

SOD must have seen something in him. Great going forward but a bit iffy going towards goal. Learning all the time though.

Hayter with another good strike. Saved

Well. SOD might have something here if he's brave enough.

We've played with back 5s before but if, Dumbaya and Friend can get round the back of defences then Billy could profit with may a tap in, plus if they decide to pull it back you've got the likes of Stock, Woods, Copps, Gillett ready to strike from the edge.

Also sounds like Friend is prepared to come in off his own flank to meet crosses. Something I always wish Copps would do more of cos he's deceptively good in the air.

Hird sounds like he's playing sweeper between Martis and Lockwood.

No doubt we'll get to the league games and it will be safety first !!

I'm enjoying this cup competition already, Better than that thing in S Africa. We might get through on goal difference.

It's all very one way traffic. Too many attacks to report.

He used to irritate me a bit but he's chilled out a bit now and he seems more confident. Can't be easy just using a mobile phone.
