Any of the techies out there know of a good PDF to word document programme that allows you to edit said document upon transfer? Oh, and if its a free download that would be a bonus! Trying to convert some work and the programmes I've tried off the net are all b*llocks up to now!

Never tried it but looks like you might get a couple of free goes before having to buy it?

I don't know a lot about Adobe, but I know they are notoriously difficult to work with, and don't behave in the same way as Office programmes.

may well do what your after basically do'es everything microsoft office does and is compatible and converts  microsoft office

Thanks for the assistance lads, will give em a go in the morning. Basically I'm trying to convert a manual used previously for use at a new company, including logo. I can knock the find and replace off if I can get to a situation whereby the documents can be edited!

I don't know of any programme that will convert to Word from the .pdf file but there are plenty of text recognition programmes that will convert into Word from scanning hard copy.  Mine does it brilliantly, recognising all of the formatting and even the font type.
But if there's a lot of pages it's a bit tedious scanning them all.
