Stand by for large numbers of cards and retaken penalties galore!
Referee: Trevor Kettle
Assistants: Richard Bartlett & Mark Jones
4th: Richard Wigglesworth.
-
One of the worst referees ever. fact.
-
Great news, he might be shite but he's our lucky mascot. Don't think we've lost a game when he's reffed us.
-
Noooooooooooooooooooo.
-
What I'm about to say might be wrong on many levels but I seem to recall he's been alright the past few times we've had him.
-
i agree rob the last 2-3 times we have had him i think he has had decent games, its just his name that everyone seems to remember for a bad game. Can't be no worse as to him we had on saturday
-
He has taken charge of us 8 times and we have won all 8. He might be s**t but he brings us luck.

Hopefully won't mess up for the match, one of the worst referees i've seen and witnessed from various fan's opinions on him
-
I'm aware of his reputation and he has dropped some clangers but he's never done wrong by us as far as I remember.
-
Except for his habit of making us retake penalties.
-
That was just to add to the pure drama of the occasion, never let it be said Mr Kettle isnt a luvvie, dahlings.
-

The first time he reffed us was in a Conference game at Barnet at the back end of the 2001-02 season. We lost 0-2. Since then he's refereed us nine times and we've won every one. The most recent was at Derby in December 2009 when we won 2-0.
Let's hope he makes it 10 in a row tomorrow.
-
That Derby game was the coldest I've ever been at a football game, ridiculously bad. Great win though!
-
Glad to see he hasn't lost his touch for some inexplicable decisions, and the "I'm going to prove I'm in charge to the west stand lino" and overule his decisions for the first 5 minutes even if the lino was correct each time
anyway wheres the votey thing gone?

Voting closes on Tuesday

I did not think even I would ever award a 0 . My accolade of Knobhead which nearly every Ref is eventually awarded is usually earned in increments during the game
Sometimes I say the Ref has earned a K or a KN but I awarded a straight "Knobhead" within the first minute. I honestly thought Bennett was going to get booked for not going off the pitch despite being the innocent party. I did not know that Kettle was the Ref at that point but it should have been obvious
Their 13 had obviously got a mission to crock Bennett and did so on 12 seconds or so. Kettle appeared to take 13 aside and said pointing to his watch " I will give you the benefit of the doubt because it is so early in the game". Crap decision it was a Yellow Card
Later on the same Cnut did a cynical foul and Kettle let us have advantage but did not take any further action
I once went as a neutral to Shrewsbury v Daggers and Kettle enraged both sets of Fans - he got only one thing right , the sending off of Grant Holt. Today he got f*** all right.
-
I've seen worse - but he was pretty piss poor today - 1 from me!
-
He got a zero from me, only because there were n`t any negative numbers to vote for!
-
0 from me, Got far too much wrong.
-
I gave him a 1. Another big case of "ooh look at me I am in charge and must be the centre of attention", which he seems to do every single week.
I noticed they now put the assessor on the programme too...this week it was Uraiah Rennie!
-
I have to wonder how Kettle manages to stay on the list given that every times we see him he seems to be dropping clangers. This cannot go un-noticed by the assessors either.
I can only assume that the next set of up and coming refs to be promoted to the league list are worse than him and the League knows it.
-
Sorry for lack of poll. I've had major computer problems since Friday. Hope to be back on line later today.
1 for Mr K.

someone gave him a 4? Really?
