Wow!   Finally a ref at the Keepmoat who didn't see himself as the main attraction of the day.

Simon,  despite being the spitting image of Paddy the vet off Emmerdale (at least from my high perch.) allowed the game to flow nicely and didn't see the need to pull a card out for every mistimed challenge. A cracking refereeing performance and very fair for both sides.

I thought a couple of theirs were lucky to escape yellows but then so was Chris Brown for a badly mistimed tackle that all the officials missed. But he did keep the game flowing well and was much better than most of those I've seen this season.

I don't remember a single decision that produced a reaction from the crowd.
All of the officials were totally anonymous for me, the way it should be. The ref seemed to do a lot of talking along the way without interrupting the flow of the game, and most of it done with a smile on his face, seemed to be enjoying his job.

Excellent performance.

Thought he was one of the better refs we have seen and the linesmen sorry referees assistants were both very good cant remember any really poor decisions apart from paynter being pulled shoved and elbowed nearly every time he had the ball passed to him

Was getting ready for him to give a foul for the third but thankfully he didn't

can anyone confirm whether or not Hume was miles offside for goal two? he looked it from where I was sat but I wonder if there was a defender over the other side I hadn't noticed

At last a decent enough ref and set of officials, ref of the season so far for me

Best ref we've had down the Keepmoat for the past two season in my opinion, kept the game flowing and didn't mind a bit of contact.

5/5

I thought he did a good job n'all. His pipecleaner legged lino was pretty good as well. A strong 4 from me.
