Fourth Official Keith Hill

Phantom goal anyone?

Gets a 5 from me, simply for giving THAT penalty, that hit THAT crossbar, that led to THAT breakaway, that led to THAT goal!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

One of the best refs we've had this season IMO. Wasn't one of those intent on stopping the game every 2 seconds, let things go, and by and large got the bookings right (apart from maybe Quinn's, which was a bit harsh).
Not entirely sure about the penalty. Would have to see it again (again). FLS said he gave it for handball, but I thought it may have been more for a raised boot on Donaldson. Certainly a VERY harsh one if he did give it for handball.

5 from me, best ref we've had all season and what a time for that.

Very good performance. Didn't play to the home crowd as so many would have done. I am still a little unsure as to why the penalty was given- I'm assuming for a high boot, which is what McCombe seemed to think.
I see Mr Oliver is reffing the Scouse Derby this weekend, so he's clearly highly thought of.

He's coming along as a ref, is Mr O, but I just wish he wouldnt give the death stare out all the time. Smile FFS, you maungy t**t. If you want to look like Per Luigi Collina, get your head shaved.
