Assistants: Karl Evans and Shaun Hudson
Fourth Official Nigel Murphy

Known as 'Bonny' to his mates

couldn't have bought a free kick today

He wasn't too bad, although he seemed determined to book Turnbull and finally got his man in the dying seconds. The standard issue incompetent West Stand lino was back again.

I'll go with that RB, seemed like with 15 minutes to go he'd made his mind up to book Turnbull before the final whistle

Turnball plays the time wasting card wonderfully. It's a joy to watch but on occasion it will get a booking.

He's up there with Sully for it.

Too much of a 'big team' man for me, too many decisions went the way of QPR. An extra point for not sending off Wellens for his tackles on Barton but 2 points removed for the f*ck*ng awful West stand linesman - got most decisions badly wrong and ignored several assaults on our players! Far too overweight and short to take seriously - t*ss*r!

I looked up the West Stand Lino- Mr Karl Evans of Lancashire- and discovered that for several seasons he was a Football League referee before he was demoted back to the line. I now recall him reffing a match against Derby in October 2010 when he seemed hopelessly out of his depth. He was "relegated" at the end of that season.
