The VSC are delighted that Billy Sharp has returned on loan until the end of the season and following on from this fantastic news, we have pledged to donate £50 to the LJS Foundation for every goal that Billy scores between now and the end of the season.
We have set up a Justgiving page:
www.justgiving.co.uk/Goals4Luey
VSC members and Viking Chat members can donate directly to LJS Foundation either as a general donation or pledging an amount per goal that Billy scores. No amount is too big or too small.
If you would like to pledge an amount, please leave your pledge on this thread. You can then donate either after every goal, or at the end of the season when his tally is known.
You can also donation via text message by texting LJSV50 £5 to 70070. The £5 can be substituted for the amount you wish to donate.
If you cannot make a payment via Justgiving we will also be offering a Paypal option or cash/bank transfer - although remember that for all donations made via Justgiving, the charity will be directly able to reclaim gift aid on your behalf.
Lets all pull together and raise vital funds for the LJS Foundation as Billy fires us up the league!
-

Every little helps, Roversbelly. Lets see how much we can raise for this great cause.
Of course, its all down to Billy now but the thought of the £££s rolling in to the LJS Foundation should be an additional spur for him to go goal crazy!
-
I'll pledge £3 a goal
... Hopefully I'll be parting with over £50 by the end of this season. (Never thought I'd hear myself say that!)
-
Nice guys. Congratulations for this good deed.
If I had more money, I would have gladly donated.

-
I will do £3 a goal. If we stay in the championship I will top it up by £20. Cmon Billy make us skint.
-
Don't have a paypal account for the fanzine, but put popular STAND fanzine down for £10 a goal and we'll hopefully cough up a hell of a lot of money at the season's end if that's OK.
-
If the club wonders why season ticket renewal is slow early on they only have one person to blame King Billy
-
Stick me and mine in for £5 a goal too please!
-
Up to £140 a goal now, fantastic efforts!
-
I can only offer £1 a goal at the moment but will round it up at the end of the season if that's OK.
-
More than ok bobby. Every 1 pound makes a difference.
-
This thread is a breath of fresh air to this message board.
-
As far as I can see, individual one-off donations can also be made via the link at the start of the thread. I think the target figure listed there may need to be revised upwards :)
:scarf:
-
Stick me down for £2.50 a goal. I'm banking on a minimum of ten.
No pressure billy lad :woot:
-
My wife has just announced she will donate £1 from each of our 3 kids.

-
Go on then, £1 a goal. Don't judge me, I'm only a student after all.
-
Go on then, £1 a goal. Don't judge me, I'm only a student after all.
All adds up when he gets to 20 by end of feb lol
Awareness is also very important and can be more important than money so tell as many people as we can
-
It doesn't matter what you can afford it all counts even 10p well done to all. Shaun Lockwood has tweeted regarding this so the Club are aware and behind this.
-
Stick me down for a pensioners £2-50 a goal. Hope he makes me have to stop in a few nights !

Put me down for £5

I'll also donate an extra £100 if he's top scorer.
(Competitive dad being outdone in the Red Rover clan :boxing:)
-
Request to the mods - can't this thread be attached to the top of the front page so it doesn't disappear off the radar
-
We shall keep bumping it for now then will tag it. We have got a good total per goal so far let's keep raising it.
-
I will pledge £3 per goal
Thanks for coming back Billy
-
I'll put £3 a goal in and settle up at the end of the season.
An extra tenner for each hat trick.
Let's hope he leaves me skint in May. :scarf:
-
£2.50 a goal from me. Will pay at end of season and top up to nearest £10 if his goals manage to keep us up.
-
Just wondering if we can get the players involved. It's a cracking cause which they may contribute to?
Do they get a goal or win bonus? wonder if they would put a percentage to the foundation?
Lets all pull together and galvanise!!
-
Put me down for £5 per goal and I'll pay at the end of the season, and I'll give an additional £10 for every goal he scores against L**ds, Barnsley & Sheffield Wednesday - that would be doubly sweet!!!!!
Come on Billy, cost me a fortune!
:boxing: :scarf: :boxing: :scarf: :boxing:
-
That's about £189 a goal, plus several extra's.
Can the wording on the justgiving site be changed so that whilst it maintains a vsc emphasis, it expressively includes anybody who wants to give, not just vsc members and forum users as it currently states
-
What about a vsc incentive that of anyone signs up as a new member for the £12 per year, the vsc would give a percentage of that??
... If that is possible of course!
-
Great initiative guys, I'm in for £2 a goal.

-
I will go £3 a goal

I'll settle at the end of the season at £5 per goal and I'll double that to £10 for any goal scored against Yeovil, Bournemouth and Ipswich...not that I'm bitter or hold grudges...

Awesome!
-
Its actually a shame they don't mention all the fans individual pledges as well though
sod it, for once I wasn't trying to be negative about the FP :)
-
Has louis tomlinson pledged yet??
-
surely its more than 50 quid a goal now though?
-
Yeah, the £50 from the VSC is now less than a quarter of what is pledged. I am presuming they've taken it straight from here as it's pretty much word for word part of the opening post.
-
It was in the Sheffield Star yesterday too.
-
I notice on the list of pledges that I'm only down for £10 per goal against Barnsley, Sheffield weds & Leeds. My pledge was indeed for that, but that was in addition to, not instead of £5 per goal he scores. Please add me to the £5 per goal list as well as the "extras" to take the total per goal a wee bit higher.
Thanks
:rtid:

Updated now Lincs, sorry for it slipping through the net!
