They seem to think we'll be the same shambles we were up there.

Let's hope their players are under the same illusion.

Haha, I had to laugh at what they did to our badge and the tank on the pitch though. Hopefully it will be a much tougher game for them than they expect.

Some fans seem to genuinely be under the illusion that Louis Tomlinson was signed as a player for our squad, wonder if he's that thick to be one of them.

Our win is going to taste so much better after that.
Can someone show sharpy what they think about him.

Obviously some bloke from Donny has given their lass a good seeing to, so he's bound to be bitter and twisted :)

Ever thought some of our May also think so.

Maybe Dickov should put this up in the dressing room.

No team talk required!

I was thinking that too. They seem very (over) confident. I thought "Gorgeous George" was off to Forest?

a bit cheeky this - pretty naff photoshop work as well.
Not done research on last few games and I hope their
players have the same arrogant attitude .
Probably right about Billy Sharp getting a goal,
a bit of a shock ( for them ) quite possible.

Let's be honest it's no different than 95% of the teams in this division we are T.L.O I say we are T.L.O. We should sing that after our 3-0 hat-trick win

It's a running 'thing' on the Boro forum. They do a similar 'thing' in every matchday thread. It's a bit of fun. They did it when they played us and we beat them.

'kin 'ell. THAT would REALLY be scary. I know it's only a branch-line town, but I'd have thought that sophisticated, late 20th century humour would have made it up there by now. Y'know. Summat a bit more barbed than, "Donny...hyuk, hyuk, hyuk. Louis Tomlinson...harr...harr..harr...Billy Sharp in Ayala's pocket...tee-hee."

No. I prefer to give the lad the benefit of the doubt and assume that he's being serious. And pib. I suggest that you do the same and stop insulting honest opposition fans.

Wonderful, we've descended into them saying we've no sense of humour and us saying they haven't. Can't wait until the football starts.

hahaha I think its quite funny to be fair to them....They seem delighted how many there bringing which is strange because when I recall there last few visits to the Keepmoat they didn't come close to selling out then...Mabe that's because they weren't that good then and the glory fans are popping out the woodwork :-)

The more the merrier.....the money will come in handy. The overconfidence from the Smoggies will soon be shattered, they will have had a nice day out in a proper town and will wind their way home pointless.

Lighten up chaps, I Wouldnt bother with that forum anyway.. A lot of boro fans know we are in for a tough game given your recent form, and Sharp loves a goal against us. We really need a striker in but Karanka has said even if he signs one he wont be starting. Create plenty of chances but have no one to finish them. Pretty frustrating!

We're fine thanks fella and do appreciate the joke and hope you enjoyed our riposte on the tank too ;)

I used to be a contractor up there in the 70s/80s and worked a week or so at a firm called British Chrome I think it was. There was a green coating all over there. Even the birds had a green tinge.
In the best traditions of British industry the blue collar workers at on site while the management ate off site.
I also worked on Seal Sands for a while, a bomb dropped there would have taken Middlesborough with it.

British Chromium at Eaglescliffe was shut down about a year ago.
I had a mate who worked there, regular health checks were the order of the day, regular car resprays following "accidental discharges", regular nose bleeds - but he got a good wage.........
Contractors have been clearing the site for ages now.

They changed the name to Elementis and built a lovely new admin / management building across the road from the main plant - probably hermetically sealed just in case....

I enjoyed working up there on the whole. We spent a lot of time at Canon Park gas depot. You had to watch the tinkers there after the scrap.

I thought that was fairly funny (the pictures anyway) and very tongue-in-cheek. Plus, you can't argue with the assessment that George Friend is a fine looking bloke.

Something I've always said since the day someone said I looked like him <_<
