Think it is good time to give a few fringe/young players a game but that's fifa gung ho tactics I think we should still make sure we have a centre midfield, Furman is going to need his energy in the middle of that park today.

Probably the diamond from looking at that. Furman sitting and Forrester behind the front two.

They're already on the beach sunning themselves

Looks like Wigan will be joining us next season. I think achieving promotion is going to be even tougher.

We always seem to struggle against Notts County, if they go down does that mean it will be an easier league?

Yeovil going down might help as well  ;)

Agreed but it could damage his confidence to be subbed so early.
Middleton on now so I don't expect us to get back in the game.

Jack's the kind of player to look invisible for most of the game but pop up with a goal or two, his not the hard work kind of player, that's Mandeville.

Wilts - so is Sharp and I wouldn't want him in my team.
We are not good enough to be able to carry that type of player.

Was this to me?

I'd prefer someone who can score us goals to create success than someone who runs around like a headless chicken.

Well Sharp was supposed to be the goalscorer last season. He was almost invisible most of the time and didnt look like scoring either.

as was macheda, brown, Robinson, main, Tyson, jch, uche.......you see a theme here? Coincidence? Dickovs teams in the five seasons he's managed have always been amongst the lowest scorers in the league.

Dickov's teams have never managed to score more than 55 in a season, where as Doncaster under any other manager over the last 10 years haven't failed to score less than 55 apart from on 3 occasions, two of which were our first season in the Championship and the season we were relegated. #randomfacts

Paul Dickov
14-15 - Doncaster - League One
52
13-14 - Doncaster - Championship
39
12-13 - Oldham - League One
46
11-12 - Oldham - League One
50
10-11 - Oldham - League One
53

In comparison
12-13 - Doncaster - League One - Saunders/Flynn
62
11-12 - Doncaster - Championship - Saunders/SOD
43
10-11 - Doncaster - Championship - SOD
55
09-10 - Doncaster - Championship - SOD
59
08-09 - Doncaster - Championship - SOD
42
07-08 - Doncaster - League One - SOD
65
06-07 - Doncaster - League One - SOD
52
05-06 - Doncaster - League One - Penney
55
04-05 - Doncaster - League One - Penney
65

As fans were not accustomed to being this shit in front of goal.

Cramby you put forward a list of strikers who you suggest didnt or havent scored many for us.
Macheda - had to be accomodated in the same side as Sharp so wasnt played as an out an out striker.
He went to Birmingham as the main man and did well enough but has only scored 6 for Cardiff this season.
Brownie has never been a prolific scorer but did get ten for us last season.
He has no goals in 20 games for Blackburn this season.
Main and Tyson have got to double figures this season despite missing games through injury.
Robinson has done at Scunny what he did for us, that is score a couple in his first two or three games then nothing.
Uche got injured after a promising first couple of games then couldn't get back in the side so cleared off with his tail between his legs.
JCH is the laziest player i have seen at Donny for years.

If you are suggesting that these players have failed to score because of Pd then i think this stats suggest otherwise.
