Just checked up on him as he wasn't a familiar name. Turns out he's a Level 2A, which means he normally referees on the National League Premier  (aka The Conference). Let's hope he's up to reffing at a higher level!

Crikey TRB, some of the ones qualified to ref at our level aren't up to it are they?

He may turn out to be fine, but I think appointing an inexperienced referee to a game like this is rather risky.

Very poor ref today.
Missed far too much and gave free ki is for the wrong things.

Didn't have any shaving foam for the line the wall stands behind, do they not issue it to level 2A refs? Otherwise not the worse I've seen this season, but could do better.

I thought he was rather inconsistent, but far from the worst I've seen. The West Stand Lino was surprisingly good.

without me being too partisan, the ref seemed to give the opposition some very soft free kicks.

yep he tried to make it up to them  for us having the cheek to score in the first few minutes
