At the moment no. If we win the last 2 and finish above at least 2 teams then yes.

If we finish the season in the relegation places, or are relegated later this weekend when Fleetwood play on Monday, then yes, we deserve to go down.
If we finish outside the bottom 4 we deserve to stay up.
The table doesn't lie!!
But the table isn't complete yet, is it?

But it is an unnecessary question! Maybe I should have used that word instead of "stupid" but that's just semantics.
In individual games we may not get the result the performance may have deserved, but over a season the table represents where we deserve to be. Therefore the question cannot be answered until the season is complete and is then irrelevant.

I agree it IS a simple question and I reckon IDM has provided the perfect answer. That is if we go down we deserve it ... if we stay up we deserve it

Points aside (the only real measure) we definitely deserve to go down. The players we have would be envy of some of clubs down in the shit and even with that advantage we have been miserable for huge chunks of season. Can't view 46 games through prism of last three. Whatever happens this has been a truly awful season.

Even so, if we do finish outside the bottom four then we do deserve to stay up. If not, we don't..
Everyone can have an opinion on where weshould have finished, but we will deserve to finish where we finish!

Personally, I don't give a flying **** wether we deserve to go down or not, as long as we stay up.

But to answer the question: yes we probably deserve to go down. We have been absolutely abysmal for most of the season.
As I said in a previous thread: we're not world beaters by any stretch of the imagination, but we shouldn't be in this position with the players we have. I'm not someone who thinks we're a top 10 side, nowhere near it, but we should t get relegated

Point of Order. He actually thought he was being asked about the May '68 Paris riots and gave what was an appropriate answer when questioned in 1972. Still a good yarn though.

No, we do not deserve to stay up - it will take a miracle of results and goal difference wing to stay up, so no, the table doesn't lie, we haven't been good enough all season.
