Met up with a mate of mine on Tuesday night who was present at the Scunny v Wall match (same day as we played the Cods, at the earlier kick off time). He was in the hospitality area at Glandford Park when in walks Gary McSheffrey - along with his young son, who was sporting the full Rovers kit. Good on him! :woohoo:

I am now well retired and I have promised myself EVERY year that goes past that "next year" I will go to watch a) the Haxey Hood and b) The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (promised for every Year but the first it was staged)
With Haxey being on mu doorstep (Thorne) then surely I will get there next year ?

Bugger - I have waited a year again and been thwarted by Rochdale - and a Hospital appointment (yes on a Saturday) at 11 am !
