Well it's safe to say that anyone who can at least kick a football will be
on this game tonight ,along with a few who have not got a scobbydo about the offside rule.
The game that arsenal/wenger can't win > > > god help him if arsenal actually do get beat during the 90mins.
If arsenal draw it will be just as bad as a loss down Fleet Street and the pressure on wenger would have passed the heights of the moon.
Should arsenal slaughter Sutton 4 or owt above nil,no arsenal gimp of arsenal fan tv will be shouting from the roof tops .
There is no way wenger will start with his main 11 players on that pitch due chance of getting a silly/ serious injury .
Sutton would love the draw so to they can filll their bank balance untold after reciepts from a replay at hughbury with more tv money slopping about in the clubs night safe.
Just think about it if Sutton was to win ,that would make sure a non league team would be in the semi finals at wembley > > > only in the facup eh .
Iam going for a draw tonight just so it's keeps on messing with the mind set on what or who is calling all the shots at arsenal at club level

You speak for yer sen fella about the facup as I think it's been great so far.
Apart from the obvious in last round the pick out things for me were ....
1.....Joey Barton a premeirship with a premeirship club trying his upmost to get a non league centre
forward sent off which in turn would have given burnley more of a edge then what they should have allready had.
2.....10 men league one millwall beating last seasons premeirship winners Leicester shity .the Leicester right back who refused to take any more throw inns on his flank because of all the vile abuse
he was getting from the millwall fans .he told his centre half that his fingers were hurting
3..... when zlatan scored put man utd 2--1 up against 2nd from bottom in championship Blackburn rovers and united fans jumped onto the pitch to celebrate as if they had gone 2--1 in the European cup final at the nou camp > > > for god sake get a grip utd knobs it was against BRFC.
4.....a championship Huddersfield team with 7 changes getting a replay against premeirship contenders ,facup contenders and still European cup semi final contenders man city squad with a
0-0 draw.which now In turn puts more pressure on man city's fixture list.
God knows what the Sutton arsenal game will chew up and spit out at us tonight

I agree. It's been one of best FA Cup weekends for a long time. Made so by the fact that all the ties are David v Goliath to a lesser or greater extent.

There's been a lot of fuss about the amount of changes the big teams have been making and the disrespect this implies, but if you look at the quarter final lineup, 5 of the top 6 in the Premier League are still in.
Really it's the middle of the road Premier League teams, who you would think would see the cup as an opportunity to do something interesting, who've come unstuck.

No. Arsenal will see this as a trophy that they can win.

Wish the commentators would shut up about the pitch being a factor and somehow gives Sutton an advantage. Arsenal will probably have an indoor one exactly the same at their training ground they will use whenever the weather is a bit chilly. Bet they play on 3G more often than Sutton do! It's not the 80s anymore with those horrendous plastic efforts QPR, Oldham and Preston had.
Also, how bad is Ospina? I'm surprised Bayern didn't score 15 the other night!

The arsenal keeper is dropping b*llocks because of the 3 g Sutton pitch I guess.
That great tackle in the 1st half when the Sutton defender went blood and gutts into the tackle clearly getting full contact on the ball first then the bbc commentator said " if this tackle had been in the premeirship it would have been a free kick to arsenal "
due to the Sutton players foot taking out the arsenal player.
Am I missing something here or is the BBC commentator on space dust

the FACT that the Sutton united sub was allowed to be seen munching into a pie that did not burn into his gob in full view of the cameras whilst on the bench > > > must have been pre planned ploy by Sutton when you notice the score of the game in its late stage .
Iam sure this ploy would not have played out if Sutton were still in the game

Well I for one thought it was funny as owt and it don't take away from the fact
if it was staged or not.
I go as far to say red j that you be the only person that finds only negative things about the

Course it was staged somebody will have asked him to eat a certain thing. The Sutton managers false holding his head in his hands for the cameras was getting on my nerves.

I thought it was funny too, my point was I'm not sure that the fact that he did it live on TV definitely means it was staged.

I may be in the minority but it doesn't feel like it used to be when these kind of matches take place..As with anything else Money takes over...I bet Sutton don't have electronic advertising boards surrounding there pitch next week,and I notice "the Sun" hijacked there normal shirt sponsor for the game by throwing dosh at them and plastering there name all over the stands...
I don't think the pitch helped Sutton either,the Gooners have a 4d pitch to train on when the weather bad it was nothing new to them..They would have been much better playing on a traditional non league pitch like we were used to seeing like Newports...
