When have we ever known assistants to actually assist?

Well in the Bradford one the Photo shows him as Referee sending somebody off

I can forgive him missing the Carroll goal and not knowing it was in because it was a really close call - and I produced a Hawkeye photo of the incident and use it as my Avatar on EBay .... and here it is :

I was thinking of the Roy Carroll incident. He's been around a long time and he refereed the notorious 4-4 at Telford back in 2002.

Robert Lewis should have been Robert Louis Stevenson and got f*****g Kidnapped before the game

NIL ....

Could easily have given 2 Penalties and did not. If he cant see the Carroll goal (see Photo above) there is simply no hope for him

My friend attended his first ever L2 game today having only ever having been to PL matches.
He said that he thought PL refs got a lot wrong but couldn't believe how bad our ref was today.
I will give him a one today because he was ok for the first 20 minutes or so up until he booked Mason and their 10.
After that he was shocking.

On reflection I gave him 1 because he was marginally better than Deadman and he did eventually get around to booking the thuggish No. 3.

That's four really poor referees we've had in the last four home games. Surely we are due a half decent one soon?
