Here are the key L2 fixtures for Tuesday. Luton missing due to cup action on Wednesday.
Grimsby vs Colchester
Cambridge vs Doncaster
Cheltenham vs Carlisle
Crawley vs Exeter
Plymouth vs Notts County
Portsmouth vs Morecambe
Stevenage vs Leyton Orient
Yeovil vs Mansfield
On paper our game would seem to be the toughest of the top 5 playing, luckily games aren't played on paper. I think we could nick a win. Plymouth and Pompey you would expect to win at home, and Carlisle with a long trip to Cheltenham, anything could happen!

Plymouth should beat County but Morecambe are going well and could upset Pompey. Carlisle are unpredictable and have a lot of injuries so are no certainties to get anything at Cheltenham. We're in the same boat at Cambridge so another interesting midweek upcoming.

I looked at Cambridge's home record against the top teams in the division. Surprisingly it isn't very good, they have lost to most of the top teams at home, though they had a draw against Carlisle, if my memory serves me right.
Both County and Cheltenham are fighting for their lives, they both will want to get something from their games. LO did beat Plymouth t home. Agree on Morecombe.

Morecambe's recent form is outstanding.
The only result that really matters is OURS
-
Other clubs results do matter to us, the past 5 results have been examples.

But that's the point. We are still top so if we look after our own results the others don't matter.
If we were behind the top 3 then they would matter because then it would not be in our own hands.

Exactly. The key fixture is Cambridge vs Rovers.

Other results do matter, tonight being an example, and will have a bearing at the end of the season.

They do matter Les but the main one is our result.
We can only influence that game, apart from putting pressure on them below with a victory.
We win the rest have to match us to keep pace.
All those results tonight were a bonus, especially with Plymouth and Carlisle playing each other on Saturday.
