I'm still amazed that Donny have romped away to promotion, as they really didn't look like anything at all.

I'm still amazed that Donny have romped away to promotion, as they really didn't look like anything at all.
To be fair they have only seen us once and based on that performance you can understand the comment, the fact that whoever wrote it can't see that we have played more than that one game is quite laughable.

A lot of the time though actually we're not doing things that are super amazing, what we focus on is switching it on when it matters. We aren't a team that's going to look like Barcelona and strangle the life out of the opposition, but we are very capable of scoring goals and tightening pressure when it's needed, hence why we're top, but aesthetically do we always look amazing? Probably not. We play quite a simple game but it's effective and we've the quality where it matters.

They are "amazed" and we "don't look like anything at all" when we are top of the league, won the most games, and scored the most goals..
Must be a fluke eh??

He does start it off with...
"based on the performance that day"
So not exactly saying we don't merit it off other performances.

I remember saying the same thing, week in week out in our first season in the Championship when we were out footballing more illustrious clubs but coming away with unlucky odd goal defeats.
Fine margins and this time we're the ones who overcome and get those points on the board.
We maybe nowt special but we'll score at least one more goal than you! 😉
