No topics after s great win and it's 6pm??? I think there would be quite a few on if we list 3-1 well done DF and the team
-
Exactly.
Certain People go into hiding after a win

We are travelling back!

Doesn't stop people after a loss

Awesome!!!

Cracking win gutted I couldn't make it. Can't wait to see the highlights, we sounded quality.
-
Class result! Feeling positive
-
The result and performance should give us real belief.
Great for Alfie May as he's now finding his feet in professional football. He's just got to keep working hard.
DFs got real options on the bench and it's a long time since I can remember it being as strong.
Let's hope more fans take note and come down to see what the fuss is a out next week!
-
My positive and impressed post should be up. DF may have got it just right this year. Wish the England cricket team could get a player to step up to the openers role the way Joe Wright has done in our defence so far.
-
Great away day. Two monumental errors by them for the goals and a slightly harsh penalty but we deserved the win. We did the disciplined hard working stuff in the first half, more than matched a strong and well organised Nlackburn side. This allowed us to dominate the second half.
-
Agree with that Gaz. The daft lump who made a mess of the first one could barely be bothered to muster a jog back after Marquis. Copps himself didn't appeal for the penalty and it did look a little soft. Their consolation looked fairly weak defending. Most important point though is that we forced them to make the errors and we put them away. Well done lads.

Great result well done Rovers
Certain posters won't be on here tonight
-
Outstanding 2nd from us. Bar mandenville who was quite, everyone played very well.
-
Wright ,Whiteman and Andrew have added real value again today !
-
Fergy got it spot on today, the formation & balance hardly gave Blackburn a sniff up to when they scored. First half was a little cautious from both sides but second half we blew them away, admittedly they made mistakes at the back but we punished them ruthlessly. Hard to choose a MOTM but I thought Joe Wright was outstanding, in fact the back four all played well, along with Coppinger, Rowe, Marquis & the excellent Whiteman in what was a real team performance. Only disappointment was Mandeville who looked well short of the pace & the game passed him by a bit, Alfie to start next week for me. Well done to everyone.
-
Great day out for me. Really enjoyed the game and a great team performance. May is really starting to impress me. Mandeville is not quite on his game yet. I think Williams could do a good job in this league
Defence played well and another great save from Lawlor
Long may it continue
-
Mandeville looks like a dog in 30 degrees at the minute. Panting 4 minutes into a game
-
That was the best 45 mins I've seen from a Rovers team in years.
-
Mandeville did absolutely f**k all today. Rest of the team were superb.
-
Reyt day.
Wright and Butler brilliant.
Whiteman brilliant.
Rowe brilliant.
Marquis brilliant.
Blair ran his socks off.
Not Copps' most sparkling game but worked hard.
Mandeville looked knackered after about 3 minutes.
May made a great impact - fair play to him.
-
I think May has probably earnt a start next week.
-
Is Mandevilles fitness a concern? Always looks knackered to me.
Shouldnt he be completing 90mins comfortably by now?
-
Give us chance! Didn't get home until 9!
That second half was the best 45 minutes I've seen from Rovers for years and years. I feel sorry for anyone who didn't go
-
We lost there the last time that I went there so I am more than happy to miss a match if it means we win.
-
Yeah, but we all know what Mandy can do so no need to worry there.
Superb performance by the lads today.
-
Looked yesterday to see if i could make it but dont finish work till 1 wanted to take little one to his first away game but would have missed 1st half so didn't see point sort of wish i had now oh well next Saturday can't come soon enough
-
Enjoyed that today. For me, we witnessed a few things today:
Lawlor seems to be settling in to being No1
May has passed a massive psychological barrier, in that he now believes he belongs at this level
Marquis just gets better and his work rate is a joy to behold
Whiteman has made a very positive difference to our centre midfield
The back 4 look incredibly tight and young Mason is now making right back his own
Mandeville has some way to go, yet!
Incredible team performance today and the bench looked strong, for a change. Still early days, but we'll give most teams in this league a good game if they keep this up.
-
Wonder if Mandeville is still carrying his injury hopefully Fergie now sees that Alfie is capable and uses him from the start.
Imagine being a defender putting up with Alfie and John then after 75 mins one goes off then on comes Liam or Andy.
Just as bad as copps going off to be replaced by kongolo never get a break.
-
I'm so glad that May has got himself up and running in terms of goals early on as, as above, it gives him the belief that he can do the business as a pro, and it gives the fans the belief that he can do it too.
-
I think May was brought on because the Blackburn defenders were a bit all over the place and we needed someone to get at them and put them under pressure. With the way May doesn't give defenders a second it seamed the right change, which worked well
-
He's just seems like that type of player that can cause defenders all kinds of problems, his effort and commitment is spot on, he's living the dream and you can tell he's enjoying and relishing every second of it.

New member, long time fan, been watching since the days of Sammy Chung and wing commander Wilcox leading the way.
Had a season ticket for many years (including all the non-league years) but now don't live in Donny so haven't seen the red and white hoops live for some time.
Anywho, Blackburn might not be the favourites they were tipped to be, but a 3-1 away win in this division will do nicely. Feeling good about chances of having a decent year in this division and finishing somewhere around the 10-16 range.

Welcome Ste. I hope that you enjoy your time on here and don't take too much notice of the occasional idiotic post or poster.

Me and you are going to get off on the wrong foot....There's only one wing commander and that's the great Peter Heritage ;-) lol

Thanks for the welcomes guys. I'll probably be knocking about here a bit but aside from what I see from TV Highlights my contributions will likely be fairly limited.
Saw there wasn't a matchday thread for the Blackburn game which is a little disappointing. Do you normally have one for each game?
-
It's in the Lucky Pint, go to the menu and you will find it.

Don't worry about that, it doesn't stop others who can't go. And some of the people that do go, reading some of the things they come out with you often wonder if they were at a different game...
